Insurance Connection Client
Insert the CD into the CD-ROM drive. At the installation screen,select
Install Insurance Connection Client
3.0 from the list and press Start.
Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation.
To start the IC Client double-click the Insurance Connection
icon on your desktop.
The first time you enter the program, ICC will ask for your setup information.
**SEE EXAMPLE SCREENS ON THE RIGHT**
Your Branch code is 01.
Enter your street address.
Enter the city you are located in.
Use the pull down box to select the state
Enter your Zip Code.
Enter your Phone Number, Please do not use dashes in the phone number field.
Enter your Phone Extension if any.
Enter your Company Name, as it shall appear on the Insurance Company listing.
Your Company ID number will be provided by ADS.
Server configuration tab.
The Server Address is set by default and should not be changed without instructions to do so.
Server Port are set by default and should not be change them without instructions to do so.
The Use Passive Mode box should remain unchecked unless instructed otherwise.
The Username and Password provided by ADS.
Remote Path and Proxy Style are not used in this version of the ICC and should be ignored.
Check the options you would like ICC to use:
"Hides to tray at startup" will start ICC in the system tray.
"Pop-up when new requests arrive" will show a message on screen when a new message arrives.
"Sound when any requests arrive" will play a sound of your choice when a new message arrives. ICC comes with 15 sounds from which to choose from. ICC will play any .wav file.
"Loop until interrupted" will flash the screen message and play a sound until you acknowledge the request by pressing a key.
"Print Rentals" will print the request automatically when they arrive provided the Auto Accept feature is checked on the systems default printer. You may also print the request by pressing the print button on the tool bar if you have this choice set to manual.
